SMC7004ABR Factory Default Reflash Procedure

  1. Get firmware from SMC website (of course, duh!)
  2. Power off the router
  3. Hold the "blue" reset button while powering on the router, until the "power" LED starts to blink about every second
  4. Connect to the router at 192.168.2.1 address via web browser
  5. Choose "Runtime Code" (and NOT Firmware), apply, wait, select RESET, confirm, wait

You should be back to your SMC firmware
